We pledge to improve the homeless cycle by building trust, effective communication, being accountable, staying committed, exceeding expectations, and providing incentives. So many things have changed drastically, seemingly almost overnight, yet the homeless population lacks essential and critical services. We aim to prevent and end homelessness one community at a time by having services that ensure individuals or families experiencing a housing crisis can get the assistance they need. That includes dedicated services and utilizing private and mainstream resources to achieve our commitment.
Homelessness can happen to anyone, late rent payments, loss of a partner, an emergency hospital stay, an unexpected change in employment, financial crisis, natural disaster, divorce, escaping victimization, domestic violence, and ex-offenders, etc. can be enough to alter a person’s life drastically.
Giving is not just about donating. It is about making a difference in the lives of those in need. Our Volunteer groups donate their time and talents to cooking, serving meals, sorting donations, cleaning, and much more. Volunteers also make a tremendous impact off-site by hosting donation drives for clothes, shoes, toiletries, or lending a hand at fundraising and events.
